I met the director Abbas Kiarostami. He gave me lessons in film direction. One of those days we shared told me: "The more simple the story is, the closer it is to the cinema". And he was absolutely right.

The cinema must be provocative, in the sense that it has to provoke something in the spectator, otherwise it is not cinema, it is entertainment. And we do not make movies to entertain, but to tell stories that the viewer wanted and he still did not know.
